Deductive Education

It is very important to understand that Mission Generation's curriculum is built on a deductive education model which is very different from the traditional rote model used in most of the developing world. Developing nations regiments students to repetition and routine which crush creativity and ingenuity. In a rote education system students are graded on their ability to repeat information committed to memory often without full comprehension or meaning.

A deductive education model requires students to be creative, processing information in order to "deduct" the answers. Deduction requires the students to construct an answer based on the information presented. An example would be:

All creatures are created. Human beings are creatures. Therefore I am __(created)__ being.

Deductive reasoning works especially well with spiritual topics and is exactly why our curriculum has been accepted by Catholics and Evangelicals as well as secular government education professionals. The answers are deducted from the material presented and therefore are subject to interpretation. This model gives each teacher the latitude to teach the material in agreement with their religious background which has enhanced its acceptance.

This deductive approach, which is new to the Latin education system, requires teacher training sessions. Mission Generation has built these sessions completely on the firm foundation of God's Word. The Bible is used as the sole source of historical morality and Jesus Christ is taught as Lord and Savior.

Biblical World View

Our program teaches all involved the practical application of the Word of God. It is never negative, critical or contentious focused on Jesus
