Founders

Before meeting Joske in 1989 in Honduras, Rocky served on staff at Horizon Christian Fellowship San Diego, California in the hospitality department, a church of 5000. As the daughter of a missionary couple ministering in Irian Jaya (West Indonesia), Joske was born into the ministry, living the first fourteen years of her life with Stone Age cannibals. She has been active in the ministry ever since.

Rocky and Joske worked on the Honduras/Nicaragua border for one year during the Sandinistas war in the war zone. They founded Mission Generation Inc. (originally Shield of Faith Ministries Inc.) in April 1990 and returned to the Mosquito Coast of Honduras where they worked with government clinics for the native Indian population, administered medical care, trained midwifes and other health care professionals, vaccinated children, directed a sanitation project, directed a marketing program and coordinated regional childcare while helping to repatriate the Nicaraguan refugees.

Rocky served as co-pastor at Abundant Life Christian Center in La Marque, Texas a church of 4,000 (1994/95). During that time he also worked as editor-in-chief of Ambassador, a world news magazine written from a missionary's perspective and taught at the Abundant Life School of Ministry, a Bible Institute.

Rocky and Joske moved to Santa Cruz, Bolivia in August of 1995 and founded Iglesia Río de Vida (River of Life Church) in July of 1996. They also founded Seminario Biblico Internacional SBI (International Bible Seminary) in 1998, KidFAITH a Christian education project in 1999 later to be named Programa Orientación Moral (Program of Moral Education) and Faith Alliance a ministerial organization in 2004.

Currently - They live in Santa Cruz, Bolivia with their five children and direct Mission Generation activities worldwide in cooperation with the Board of Directors in the US.

1993 Move to US to attend Bible school.

1995 Move to Santa Cruz, Bolivia and start River of Live Church.

1999 Start work in public schools.

2004 Bolivian congress accredits Mission Generation school program for public and private school.

2008 Work begin in Paraguay

2010 Work begin in Chile.

Mission Generation is a non-profit, Bible based character development program used in public and private schools (K-12) to bring students, teachers and parents to salvation and train them in the practical application of the Word of God.
